Biography of Theo Williams

1984 - Started doing Freestyle dancing and won the Eastern Cape Flash Dance Championship. He also broke the record for the longest Disco dancer ( 54 hours and 30 minutes).
1985 - Start training as Ballroom and Latin Dancer at Arthur Murray Port Elizabeth.
1985 - Moved to Arthur Murray Benoni where he completed his Teacher, Advanced Teacher and Master Certification.
1986 - Were crowned during Festival and Derby by International Arthur Murray as the Top Specialist in the organisation.
1990 - Became the Dance Director of Arthur Murray Pretoria and completed the Diamond Star Teacher qualification.
1991 - Choreographed a Cuban Chacha formation for Sun City, which was a big success. It was performed in the State theatre in Pretoria afterwards for a whole week.
1992 - Joined the TC Dance Club International group by becoming the Director of the Pretoria Club and qualified internationally.
1992 - Was invited by Tommy Chapman, the owner of TC Dance Club International to visit them in Kansas City to facilitate a workshop on how to successfully run a dance school. He was awarded the International Top Managers Award. He also choreographed a Latin formation for a team from Kansas City during this period.
1992 - Did his International Examiners Exam in International American Ballroom and Latin (American Smooths and Rhythms). Have won various awards and titles as Professional Dancer.
1995 - Left Pretoria and started a Dance School (TSS Dance School) in Kroonstad, which were sold in 1996 to Johan Labuschagne.
2017 - Started Country and Western Dancing with SACWD (UCWDC Syllabus).
